The Dark Green Arborvitae ia an excellent variety for cold climates. Dark Green Arboritae stay darker green color though the winter when other arborvitae look yellosish-brown. Dark Green Arborvitae are planted as windbreak trees, hedge trees, accent trees and speciman trees due to it dense foliage. Prefers deep, well-drained soil in full sun and does tolerate black walnut juglone. Dark Green Arborvitae grow 20 to 30 feet tall by 10 to 15 feet wide.
