Description
Ivory Silk® Japanese Tree Lilac is a beautiful small flowering tree with a sturdy, compact oval growth habit. Selected by Sheridan Nursery, this variety is more compact than the traditional Japanese Tree Lilac, making it an excellent choice for smaller landscapes.
Its attractive cherry-like bark provides year-round interest, while large clusters of creamy-white, fragrant flowers appear in early July, adding color and fragrance to the summer landscape when many other flowering trees have finished blooming. Dark green foliage provides a clean backdrop throughout the growing season.
Ivory Silk® performs best in full sun and is highly adaptable to cold climates, making it an excellent choice for lawns, patios, entrances, and specimen plantings.
