Description
Red Sunset® Maple is an outstanding selection of Red Maple prized for its fast growth, strong form, and spectacular fall color. In early fall, its green summer foliage transforms into brilliant shades of orange and scarlet, creating a dramatic display.
Red accents can be seen throughout the growing season, with spring flowers, leaf stems, branch tips, and fruit all carrying reddish tones. The tree has an upright, spreading habit when young and gradually develops into a broad pyramidal to rounded canopy as it matures.
As a fast-growing, large shade tree, Red Sunset® is an excellent choice for lawns, parks, streets, and larger landscapes where quick shade and dependable fall color are desired.
