Description
The Triumph™ Apple is a modern apple variety prized for its excellent disease resistance, balanced flavor, and dependable production. Developed by crossing ‘Honeycrisp’ and ‘Liberty,’ this variety combines outstanding fruit quality with strong resistance to apple scab, making it a reliable choice for home orchards and northern growers.
This apple truly lives up to its name as a triumph over apple scab, offering two different genetic forms of resistance that provide excellent tolerance to the disease. The fruit is an attractive red apple with a pleasantly tart, well-balanced flavor and crisp texture. Triumph apples are especially good for fresh eating and also store well after harvest.
The tree blooms mid-season and produces fruit ready for harvest in late September, typically around the same time or slightly later than its parent ‘Honeycrisp.’ Its cold hardiness makes it well suited for northern climates.
